Made of: 100% Kerner (97% of a single tank, 2% Barrel fermented)
Tastes of: Rhubarb & Ginger compote, Apple, Quince, Ginger
Sweetness: Dry
Acidity: High, Slightly spritzy

2022 produced the ripest Kerner our vineyard has ever produced. Coming in naturally at 12.8% Abv (remembering this is a relative of Riesling), there was an intensity & complexity to this variety that we have never experienced. Spritzy and refreshing, it displays vivid flavours of rhubarb & ginger compote, with a savoury, nutty background. A fantastic aperitif, or paired with pork, fatty fish, or Japanese cuisine. A once in a decade vintage.
