Freya is our delightfully drinkable sparkling wine. Made predominantly of Kerner, this semi-sweet (17.5g/L), fruity sparkling wine is made for drinking with friends, or sharing at parties. Consistently a best seller, and always one of our favourite wines.
Made of: 60% Kerner, 25% Madeleine Angevine, 15% Bacchus
Tastes of: Sweet apple, Ripe citrus, Sherbet
Sweetness: Semi sweet (17.5g/L - "Sec")
Acidity: High
Time on lees: 36 months/3 years

Freya is a fun alternative to traditional sparkling wines. The joyous, but not sickly amount of residual sugar balances nicely against the naturally high acidity of Kerner. The result is a fantastic, but casual sparkling wine that makes a great gift, or a delicious pairing with fruity desserts.
