Kerner (a relative of Riesling) is the pride and joy of Astley Vineyard. This sweet, but refreshing wine (similar to a Kabinett Riesling) is made for cheese & charcuterie boards.
Made of: 99% Kerner, 1% Bacchus
Tastes of: Apple, Honey, Lemon Tart
Sweetness: Sweet (15.1g/L)
Acidity: Medium High
Our first vintage of Brigid was a successful, highly sought after anomaly, so when the 2024 tanks of Kerner presented the opportunity, we decided to make this delicious wine again. A mixture of natural residual sweetness and some added sugar, Brigid is a beautifully balanced sweet wine (15.1g/L) that is easily drinkable on its own, or excellent paired with charcuterie, cheese, or even fruity desserts.
