Made of: 85% Madeleine Angevine, 11% Siegerrebe, 4% Pinot Noir
Tastes of: Orange Peel, Red apple, Redcurrant, Damson, Sappy
Sweetness: Dry
Acidity: Medium
Winemaking: 8 weeks skin contact, Wild Ferment, Filtered
We always try to be experimental when we can. For various reasons, 2023 & 2024 held us back in these areas, so when 2025 presented a fantastic vintage, we welcomed the opportunity to do something fun. Back for its second-ever vintage, this release of Wild Madeleine is full of ripe fruit peels, with a sappy, slightly chewy bite. A relatively approachable orange wine - enjoyable on its own or with aromatic cuisine.
