Kerner (a relative of Riesling) is the pride and joy of Astley Vineyard. As is typical with this variety, this older vintage has suddenly come into its own 8 years after bottling. An intruiging wine for wine enthusiasts and dinners.

This vintage of Kerner has been on an upward trajectory ever since we first tasted it in 2018. Displaying its Riesling heritage on its sleeve, this rich & luxurious vintage tastes of petrol & rich orchard fruit, with a surprising freshness and nicely balanced sweetness . Pair with pork & cider casserole, coconut curries, and other aromatic dishes.
